Nep-Tune
my inner voice is a sea bird's song
the melodies are sweet
the notes are pure and clear
I always know just what to say
when the pressure's off
and when the thrill is gone
and when no one else cares
my outer voice is the barking of a seal
the tune's a single bleat
the notes are harsh and loud
I always know just what to do
when it's happening somewhere else
when it's too late
when it's someone else's song
